Internal Education and Research

The Internal Education & Research Committee will give insightful presentations during our general meetings based on researched topics regarding the farmworker community. Such topics will include labor policies, disparities stemming from inequities in the farmworker community, how to support farmworkers, and more. They will also be responsible for gathering information about health, health disparities, and current events. This committee will be heading our project and gathering data to be presented during Undergraduate Research Week.

This committee aims to fill the gap in knowledge that exists in the UCLA community (and beyond) regarding the issues that afflict farmworker communities.
