Semillas
Our mission is to provide the children of farmworkers with the tools and resources necessary to further their education at an institution of higher learning.
Children of farmworkers face several obstacles and inequities which can hinder their ability to succeed academically. Therefore, our sites will consists of workshops, tutoring, and mentoring services. Our ultimate goal is to support the children of farmworkers who become part of our program so they can pursue higher education or any other goals they may have after high school.
Semillas is a mentoring program geared towards children of farmworkers, led by the Youth Empowerment Directors and committee of Compas.
